Hello I am Nicole,
I come from Stuttgart in the South of Germany, where I trained and worked as a Physiotherapist in the Spinal Unit of an Orthopaedic hospital for 6 years.
When I left all that behind for a few month to go on a backpacking adventure, I was not quite expecting how life changing this decision would turn out to be. Now, 8 years later I am living on the other side of the world, married to my Kiwi husband and we have two gorgeous, wild little boys.
Equally unexpected my yoga journey began when my friend took me along to my first hot Power Vinyasa class ever with Jess at Flow after the earthquakes in 2011. I was absolutely amazed how the practice made me feel good on so many levels!
Through my training and work back in Germany I am very passionately interested in the anatomy of the human body and all of its complexity of movement and function. I love that Yoga has something to offer for everyone – regardless of their level of flexibility, ability, fitness and strength.
It is very exciting for me to be able to assist Victoria with our monthly Yoga classes for people with spinal injuries and hope the Yoga community will be growing and expanding in this direction!
I am also looking forward to learn more about the practice of Yoga and I am planning to begin my teacher training in the near future.
I feel very blessed to have become a part of the lovely, kind and caring Yoga family at Flow. I enjoy working on the front desk and meeting so many wonderful yogis to share this journey with.
