Yoga found me around three years ago, and since the day we met we have been getting along like a house on fire. She tests me all the time, even so, it’s hard to spend a day apart. Although we are still getting to know one another, I see a real future with her.
I've never liked the idea of getting stuck in the rat race fulfilling society’s expectations rather than my own. Movement has always moved me, lol. So, when I fell in love with yoga it only made sense to keep falling. In 2014, I found myself in India and decided to merge travel with teacher-training because I felt it was traditional and authentic. The philosophy and meditative aspects of yoga really appeal to me. It’s all sublime.
I enjoy my own practice; motivation is effortless. However, teaching still challenges me. I feel like I’ve tasted just a drop from an ocean of knowledge. I dig the ability to help people relax into meditation, adapt the class to the vibe of the room and make the class feel more one on one. A room of people attaining synchronicity is one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. Different teachers gel with different people at different times, hope we can jive sometime.
