Hi I’m Dawn,
Yoga – I marvel at its simplicity, am mystified by its complexity and simply laugh at the absurd situations it has placed me in.
Above all I’m grateful to have found this passion; it will stay with me for a lifetime.
As a certified personal trainer, I love anything to do with fitness, health, nutrition and the human body. I also enjoy teaching group fitness as a Balance (Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi style) Pump and Circuit trainer.
Having tasted different styles of yoga over the years and attending workshops with various high profile yogis, a quiet seed was sewn to venture deeper into an understanding of this ancient practice.
It took an overseas family adventure to New Zealand, and an earthquake to realize my Flow Hot Yoga journey.
Through Donna Farhi intensive workshops and advanced teacher training my truth was realized of what yoga is all about. It’s available to all, working within your own structure, and peeling away the layers to self. It’s an ongoing thirst for knowledge that unveils new understanding each and every day. To teach feels like an expression of self, combined with the art and science of yoga, to gently guide yogis to their own self-inquiry.
The community that attends Flow Hot Yoga – Victoria, Greta and Jess, and all the other fun and inspiring teachers are part of the puzzle that keeps me loving what I do, and to each and everyone am grateful.
